About Formations
Formations is a collaborative collection of ceramic vessels designed by ceramic artist and designer Alyssa Nuttall and floral artist Natalie Davis. Each piece is produced by Alyssa in her Naarm/Melbourne studio.
Alyssa's practice explores the relationship between material, geological time and the natural processes that shape our environment. Together, the artists developed a collection informed by their shared interest in organic forms, irregularity and the natural world.
The collection was presented alongside their collaborative exhibition, Formations, which brought together ceramic objects, floral sculpture and gathered plant material. Through the contrast between ephemeral and enduring materials, the exhibition explored ideas of decay and permanence, and how we assign value to the natural world.
Made to order and lead times
All Formations ceramics are made to order by Alyssa Nuttall, with an estimated production time of 6–8 weeks from purchase.
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, form and dimensions may occur. These variations are part of the character of the work.
Shipping and Collection
Shipping costs and arrangements will be confirmed according to the size and destination of your order. Local collection may be available by arrangement.
Cancellation & Returns
As each piece is made to order, change-of-mind cancellations and returns may not be available once production has commenced.
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including remedies for faulty goods or goods that do not meet consumer guarantees.
